Why would they go through open enrollment for all their employees just to start cutting a month later? Seems like a thoughtless move. If i owned the company, i would at least cut these folks and let them sign up on the exchanges during enrollment. Also, why go through performance reviews just to cut people a week or two later in January? If they cut, which they will have to because the first cuts were not deep enough it will be earlier in the yearly cycle for 2026. So if the net margins or profit and loss for 2025 is (-1.6billion) is still coming in worse than expected they wont wait around till end of 2026 to make a move operations wise. If your managers start acting rude to you or start cancelling team meetings or 1:1’s start looking for work. Dont try to just move departments because that will prove to be a bad strategy. The next cuts will be mid and low level managers and individual contributors. Rebuilding is easy in this market
