Just seen that a president announced that federal gov is closed for Christmas 12/24 & 12/26. Are banks going to follow and give us the holidays off as per federal holiday schedule?

I didn’t vote for President Trump but he IS my President. Irrespective of party everyone needs to honor The Office of The President. It goes for you too Republicans with respect to President Biden and President Obama. Else you’re just a hypocrite.
There is a federal law that does not allow banks to be closed more than 3 days in a row.
Maybe he will change it in the future....we have another three full years.
Lots of time ....lots
@eb I’m the OP and yes he is our president. What do you mean? I actually like him too so not sure what you mean. I’m no crazy liberal fool.
@OP just a quick note of clarification to your post. While technically true that Donald J. Trump is a President, he is also Your President. Merry Christmas.
President Donald Trump
@d8 Check your facts and resources. Fed Reserve is not closing on those days.
@d8 If that were true we’d have an updated announcement first thing today. That’s a massive move for the bank that they’d have to get in front of.
This “holiday” is for federal employees.
@a8 the federal reserve will be closed on those days..so banks are likely to follow suit
😂
Banks follow the Federal Reserve holiday schedule. Not federal employee closures. So the answer is no.
