@1hy this was firing at a corporate level. GM level were not part of the lay offs.

My wife was fired last Tuesday. She poured her heart in the store. She was a GM. I'm not thrilled that mass firings happen. Rather they not lie about why. I am slightly okay that it wasn't just my wife.

They let go all the people that actually had heart and went hard for them. Today was only the first round. I suggest everyone look for a job they will be next. It was already being discussed. This company is broke now!

@d5 Five Guys is an amazing brand and will continue to be. Business make tough decisions all the time and I am pretty sure this is no different than other concepts laying off people.

It’s all across corporate all departments. They have to come up with the money to buy back the UK joint venture and they don’t have it. Hope they go under!!!

The Murrells still own and run the company. Since when do they let BCG make the changes. Unless.....

@cz because it’s not them. It’s Boston Consulting Group.

This is so unlike how they operated other than during Covid. Don't get it.

@cx rumor is they are cancelling the 40 year anniversary conference next year also. Somebody close to me has a call in 30 minutes. They are essentially letting BCG put them out of business, like they have dozens of others. Five Guys will be bankrupt within the next few years because of this.

A know an FBM with a longtime history with the brand was let go and an FOS was let go also. Said everyone that got a time slot has been let go. BCG is calling the shots for someone else. This is not like them. They cancelled the NE Conference four days before hand.

@cv confirmed that some FOS, FA and, and ACTs have all been laid off so far, and there are rumors that some are being offered new positions. As far as someone else calling the shots, look into Boston Consulting Group, and be prepared to get pi---d off.

Just IT. Point of purchase console upgrades with a new tipping 5%, 20% or 30%. And new frequent diner rollout for 3% discounts up to 5%
