Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Who votes to strike?

Show of hands, who votes to strike? We should get organized and show this machine who is really doing the work.

Who is down for a strike?!

As a former employee and happy I dont work in the sh-tshow that cigna has become. There are way too many complacent upper middle class mo--ns commenting on this. You are all on the chopping block and your job will never be safe. You need to unionize or you are all gonna have a rude awakening. I only check this layoff thread every few months to see how bad it is while staying in contact with the few I know that are left. Cigna is chopping off anyone that remembers when it was good to its employees and is banking on the new hires to be scared of unionizing. Bring cordani, blackrock, and vanguard (your owners) to their knees. Don't rat each other out. Its not hard to organize if you understand that a loss in productivity hurts the ones hurting you. If you're an IC, kick your feet up on your desk and do the bare minimum. If you're a middle manager, dont rat your directs out. If you're a director, bullsh-t your metrics harder than you ever have before. If you're a senior director, sell your stocks before the people do something about this and support your director's bullsh-t metrics. If you're a VP or c level exec, fu-k you, you have rotted the relationship with the people earning your paycheck to the point where you deserve nothing and I hope people spread birdseed in your driveway. Overall, cordani is a goomba fu--ing every one of his employees over without a care in the world.

Golden age of cigna is over - 2010-2018. You're 6 years into the rot now.

They tried to form a union in Pittsfield, and we all know what happened in Pittsfield

Ridiculous id--tic idea. Unions su-k. They take your money and the jobs continue to move off shore. They are powerless but pretend they add value.

So you want to give away your hard earned salary to trust someone else (who will gladly pas their own pocket with your $ ) to get you a better deal? Lol. D-mb. The smart move is go look for a better job and keep your money for you.
Recall during creation of Obamacare they wanted to get rid of Cadillac health plans for execs and then ooopps found out most of them were held by their buddy union leaders.

The forum is filled with fake and disingenuous people like OP (they use a lot of emojis in that style), gossips, and HR. Careful patriots.

@a8 David Cordani makes $23M per year. I think we are profitable.

While I personally and professionally empathize with everyone who has experienced job loss, we must continue to stay profitable to stay in business.

Let's be part of the solution rather than add to the problem. Striking solves nothing.
