Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

They couldn't care less if they tried

They finalized my layoff on my birthday. Some gift. That tells you exactly how much they value people.

@OP there is a clear and self evident pattern. It's really simple to fugure out. Targeting high cost and glaring agesim - full stop no doubt. Numbers and facts show it. It's irrefutable. Simply take the ADEA information provided, run it through analysis and regression/pressure test it by job title. USe ChatGpt, Claude - whatever is your favorite.
Results are startling - especially if you're over 50.

Let me guess you got participation awards all through school and no one was allowed to be the winner... how is the reality of life treating you?

lol grow up. It’s embarrassing you still care about your birthday after ~18 years old or so.

Grow up, birthdays stop mattering when you turn twelve. Although, 16, 18, and 21 can be milestones. By the way, they could actually care far less and will in the future. With more than 8.25 billion on the planet now, and growing, the value of being a person is becoming diluted everyday.
