There you go, that's it. Call the customers stupid for not accepting your new cr@p bloated software BEVs. That always works. If they're so great why aren't we seeing numbers that tell is that? Customers buy stuff they see value in. It's proven by other manufacturers selling it. I don't need to name names but it at least one Ford tries to copy at every opportunity. What happened here?

The Ford+ Plan originally was going to address this in full via an all-in BEV offering strategy. It would have worked had the customer base been smarter in their acceptance of the BEV future for mobility. However, now that ideal future is delayed slightly and Ford will have to manage the complex and lesser reliability inherent to legacy ICE vehicles.
@c6 No, quality is addressed by outside hires from Lays and Better Made. Toyota people do marketing. We only hire the best in class for each area.
@OP Doesn't Ford use Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production Systems? 🤣 I'd fire EVERYONE who has any of those in their title or job description. Or add "plumber" to their title since their actions result in everything going down the toilet!
