So sad to letting senior attorneys go with so much expertise. Thank god I am retired
I know of 2 attorneys let go in our region…so far. Was told there’s 30 “higher paid” to be let go this time and more to go by (or in) January. (Unknown if “higher paids” include those among paralegals/Admins.)
I understand Allstate hired a consulting firm months ago which is making specific recommendations for who to cut based upon their review (internal anonymous audit?). Sounds like Allstate is just looking at numbers (salary v location total workload (?)) to decide who’s next on chopping block.
@b8 I'm not totally sure, but its seems like most complexes had at least one person affected.
@cy No, I heard they had some lay offs with support staff last year. Haven't heard of anything upcoming.

What states did they fire those 30?
It was actually 30 in CLS- included counsel level and senior trial attorneys, as well as some lead counsel.
