If you are a bank employee, either get to the office close to 9am local time or get ready to be escorted out by being in the office early. Notice period is tomorrow.

There are no layoffs this month, the 60 days just ended for the employees impacted by the January layoffs. Just because someone quit or was fired doesn’t mean it’s a layoff. Going by USAA’s prior history since 2022, they’ve had 3 rounds of mass layoffs each year. Bank needs to cut 10% of its workforce by end of year, January was a 5% cut, so expect 2 smaller rounds by years end to make it 10%.
Last commenter is right, bank is same as the rest of the company now. There’s no minimum number of weeks, it’s based on tenure or how much you make
There were some comments on this website about the severance package changing for bank employees to match with the rest of the company.
@cx minimum 26 weeks to a max of 52 weeks (2 weeks salary per year).
@OP I haven’t heard anything about layoffs this week, much less for this month. The bloodbath from January 28th, there last day was 4/3 and if given an extension was 4/17. All the chatter I’ve heard from higher up’s has been late Q2 and the start of Q4 for layoffs.
But true as well, least from what I’ve heard from those impacted back in January and were in office that day, you will have security escort you out of the building and to your car.
Any update or confirmation on this? I’m in bank and haven’t heard anything
Can anyone send me the bank severance info. I'm being told that it changed from six months on 3/1. Is that true?
