Guys when are we getting the next voluntary separation program? I just can’t take this anymore I need to leave but not without my Abfindung. Any alternatives?

@ar
You’re late 😁 It has been announced last week. Talks are starting now with the workers council.
Am just wondering who will be left after that. We’re almost down to the bone.

stay and do the bare minimum. if they come with actions, go to workers council. become uncomfortable to them like they become to us

An option for VSP is coming across all regions and countries end of the calendar year. People with no passion for the company will be given an opportunity to exit with the severance packages.

You need to talk to your Manager. There is an open list every month/quarter. I talked to my Manager, and he was very open to discuss the possibilities. If you are part of a global Team and you really want to leave, then it should be possible, as your leader knows how hard it is to put a German employee on the list. The leader always need to look for people outside Germany. But always remember, finding another job isn’t easy these days. I was a manager (Director was my title), and I could no longer keep up with the nonsense. I could not look into the mirror each morning and be proud of what I had to do, because it did not make sense. If you are an IC, I would stay and only do the bare minimum. Take the money, save as much as you can.

@cx if I had an option to get 3y of salary, I'd sign here and now.

@cw yes, it’s possible, but only with a massive package (2-4 yearly salaries), which is just insane.

@ct wrong. Got plenty of ex-colleagues being laid off in Germany. It just takes a while through workers council.
