@ctq+1scUSWG9 “Policy FAQs allow Management discretion in some respects is my interpretation.”
Other than FMLA and PTO, a manager needs Band 6 approval for someone to not follow the policy for a limited time. I don’t see VPs giving out lots of approvals. To be classified as WAH if you have been designated in-office requires Band 7 approval. Someone in my org had to get sign off from Noelle to stay WAH.
Managers have been getting pulled into meetings with HR and are being told they have to enforce this, they have to write up non-compliant employees on a PIP and if they don’t they can get written up themselves.
So far what 8 hour window you need to be there is still flexible. As is when you take your third full 8 hour day. Expect that flexibility to go away too if not enough people quit. Then expect 4 days in if that doesn’t work.
ELT is has created a budget that assumes attrition and if payroll isn’t reduced enough, it will get worse.
Good luck if you want to stay. Going to be a very sour second half of the year.
