Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

I intend to enjoy the holidays

For once, I’ll treat myself to complete detachment from work. I’m not going to think about it, I’m not going to get anxious about what might happen next, and I’m definitely not going to get wrapped up in the idea of possibly losing my job. I’ll spend some quality time with family and friends, watch a good movie, or read a book. This whole drama be damned. My reserves are at zero, and I’m just going to be good to myself.

@dm It's no easier being laid off in October. Or May. Or February.

@ct Getting laid off December 8th was unexpected and sh—ty too. Ruined the holidays.

That’s sadly all we can do. I’m with you. It’s sh---y that we’ve been given this feeling as we go into the holidays of uncertainty. If they acted like there was no other reorg coming and just surprised us in Q1 vs. be a wee bit transparent (if one can even call it so) would it be better so we’re not going into this season with such uncertainty? I dunno.
