For now, Wall Street likes the cost cutting. Now, if they cut even more and the revenue goes up? Wall Street will really love it.
Dell must be fooling alot of people since the stock is through the roof. Maybe we're wrong and they're right.
Does any one remember when Apple went into their creative slump? The would move a floppy drive, from the left side to the right and call it a new model. Then Jobs returned and innovation restarted. We need a Steve Jobs to bring back some semblance of innovation.
@OP That's not innovation, that's de-innovation. The brand changes were the d-mbest idea on the planet. It set us back years and wasted billions in brand equity. Now we've gone back to XPS but nobody's head ever rolls. IT SHOULD!!
the problem is, so long as we have an unexpired warranty on a brand, we have to support every historical brand name, regardless of what JC says, so is like 5 separate hierarchies now? and then having to map the new flavor of the day or returning flavor such as XPS etc, and then m'ing it down to 3
