It is amazing that Nike now has a ten year stock return that is negative. Sure you could throw in dividends to maybe get back to flat but on same comparisons indexes up 300%.
Nike is negative ytd 1 yr 2 yr 5 yr 10 yr that is actually kind of hard to pull off.
All the while mgmt walks around with pride at what they’ve accomplished

Nike built a huge new tech center in India and EH doesn't feel tech is as important to nike as previous leaders. And with each of the last 5 layoff rounds, they have kept the remote employees who hide, do little work, have teo 100% remote full time jobs, or have started other businesses on the side.

it's looking like 30 is the bottom now, if the Q3 does not show any green shoots, it's going down 15% day of, then continue to shrink on layoff news and write downs
maybe not lay off 1000's and maybe not send money to india to "save" money, when all that does is :
a) cause layoffs --> write down news --> stock drops --> culture further erodes --> cycle continues
b) increase spending on infrastructure in india --> balance sheet reflects --> margins smaller --> stock goes down
c) tech innovation stops, direct to consumer has more issues ---> margins further decline --> stock goes down --> culture further erodes
instead, buck up, cut india, bring money back home, run a pro US campaign, get phk excited again, celebrate back to US mindset, a real 'win now' moment
