This year’s Great Place to Work survey used a restricted participant list. In my memory, in the last a few years, everyone around me anticipated the survey. Is management trying to avoid honest results? Or the company is trying to save money by reducing the survey sample size?

@10b Looking at the K curves of my TC and Sassines', I am speechless and helpless.
@10b While many of colleagues were laid off and most of us who remain got severe compensation cut, the management behaved like a leech su-king our blood.
@ys: Sassines base salary went up from 600k in 23 to just below 900k in 25...his total comp went up from 10M to 19M that same timeframe.
But I think it just reflects on his qualification, his geat results and his vision... right?

@OP The survey timing, coming right on the heels of layoffs and pay cuts, is bizarre. Is leadership hopelessly out of touch or intentionally mocking us?
The GPTW survey is a completely waste of time and a joke on so many layers.
They created a crapy work environment, merged two companies, force everyone to do all these migration tasks over months and then layoff all the folks that did all that work leaving a holes in everyone's work environment.
Then, icing on the cake is to turnaround and ask "how are we doing after we just shredded your work environment" in the GPTW survey.

I usually try to give constructive and positive feedback in surveys like this, but the timing of this one didn’t feel right. It came right after the recent layoffs, along with notifications about bonus and salary adjustments.
At this point, I don’t feel much trust in the system, and the lack of transparency is hard to ignore. I haven’t received a promotion over the past few years, and the salary increase rates feel discouraging.
To be honest, I don’t mind whether SNPS tracks my responses or not — I answered based on my real experience. If anyone wants to discuss my feedback, I’m open to that and can explain it in detail.
Several of my colleagues were laid off, and I’ve taken on additional responsibilities since then, but without a promotion and with only a minimal base salary increase. It’s hard not to feel that my contributions haven’t been fully recognized.
So for this survey, I answered each question based on my genuine experience.

@OP From banning anonymous questions at all-hands meetings to eliminating certain employees in the annual survey, the company is descending into a heartless and authoritative regime.
The fact that senior mgmt believes sending these surveys out is a good idea tells you all you need to know. If they have to ask how things are in an "anonymous" survey, they have already lost the plot. Sending address blocked as spam, carry on.
There are no mandatory questions on the survey, even the demographic ones. Most of them are multiple choice. The survey FAQ says that not all countries were included. I was very honest with the questions I chose to answer.
This is your typical "tell me what I want to hear or the beatings will continue" type of anonymous survey. They created a mess, destroyed the working environment by the RIFs , reduced your TC for a living wage and now they want your blind obedience for worthless survey results to pad the external view.
Your choice if you got selected to toot their ho-n and continue down this wonderful path of swirling drain or not.

L4 in Sunnyvale here. Still no invite email—anyone else? Starting to wonder if this is actually random or if it’s weighted by level, role, or location.
I believe SNPS isn't tracking your specific survey response because BPTW is a third party; if they leaked identities, they’d lose their clients and go under.
But use some common sense: if you’re in a small department and you write a detailed description of a specific incident, it’s obvious who you are. Your writing style and the facts you share can give you away even if the survey itself is "anonymous." Just be careful how much detail you include.
@af if it is the case, why do you bother taking the survey in the first place? Treat the email as nothing but a spam.
I would be careful replying to the GPTW survey. The link sent in the survey can be uniquely linked back to you, it is not anonymous or confidential despite what they may claim. It's obvious middle management is getting squeezed and desperate to maintain last year's results although employee morale has fallen through the floor.
