How is the situation in Germany so far?

Apparently they have prepared a list of selected ones which has to be approved by the work council / Betriebsrat.
Plus some already know potential targets and/or hope for certain colleagues to be targeted and start behaving as if it is already decided.
Situations like that make some show the worst sides of their character.
The way this is run will probably leave a lot of bad blood everywhere and hamper company reputation & spirit for a long time.

Seen various layoff in legacy Synopsys in German sites
3 we're layed Off at my Location.
Synopsys doesnt have a Work council in Germany, ansys has though.
Due to WC, I think any updates in Germany / France is delayed compared to other regions.
