What is the procedure to move out of state voluntarily (before getting a letter)? Can I buy a home staying out of state?

Tell your boss you want to go to Texas and ask if you can work from the Plano site instead of Dallas. Get their approval and go for it. Good luck as longevity is 50-50 around this joint these days.

Pack your things
Leave.
If T leadership doesn’t eventually ask you to move and you don’t already in Atlanta or Dallas, you are a dead employee walking.
The procedure is simple:
1) Buy a house in Plano
2) Get laid off in your new house in Plano
