@a8 raises or ‘promotions’ with complementary free flights on the corporate jet sat on Ryan Lance’s lap.
What are we going to do in 6 months whenever the worker bees start saying they are overworked and trying to bring in contractors to cover the shortfall of labor?
@ch what is an example of a tough question that you would like someone to ask on your behalf?
@cc And yet during the townhall with RL next week when floor opens to ask questions, it will be crickets. Who wants to put a spotlight on themselves during a time like this? I dont have phycological safety for sure, whether perceived or real. That flows from my supervisor, who may as a personality trait, leans towards the political and paranoid and would advise against asking any real questions in front of a company audience. I hope someone has the cojones to ask some tough questions.
@OP you mean besides the CDIO telling all IT supervisors that if employees express concerns about this reduction in force and workload next year to help coach them towards quitting? Yeah morale -100. Company profit +100. If we were honest we would admit this is all about profit. Like the billions we make each year isn’t enough. Let’s send 50% of the companies knowledge workers to India. That’s worked so well for so many. I think all us individual contributors are coming down with COVID. Sounds like the week of the United Way folks tournament would be a good time for us all to get sick and remind the company of the P in SPIRIT values. We all see what happens when the execs do the work… how long has this been going on now? 10 months?
I’m exhausted and way underperforming this year because of the uncertainty. Why is this being dragged out for so long. This isn’t the first nor will it be the last. Centralize, decentralize, centralize, decentralize.
Normal day for me
I think everyone is just over this whole thing. The wait and lack of transparency. Nobody wants to make a decision. Nobody motivated to do anything. I wonder how our leadership will re-motivate whoever’s left standing to be high performers again.
