Does anyone know if we will we receive any layoff email at midnight or later in the morning on Tuesday?

@ex The jobs will go to india until people wake up.
@ey Will it be a webinar? or a live zoom-RIP the chat
@dq so if we join the meeting and see some combination of the chief of Hr & or Fiddelke… we’re cooked?
Last year my org had us enter a last minute meeting they scheduled day of for the afternoon and they told us that teams in our org were let go but because of their counterparts in India there shouldn’t be any impacts
@cb the ones staying met with their dept VP and they explained what was happening (we weren’t given heads up before) and shared some corporate messaging on “why”, etc.. Also, to give the ones let go some privacy while they were getting the let go messaging. It was all in person at the time, but it did work.
@c4 why would there be a meeting for those staying?
If similar to the last three layoffs, it’ll be early in the day, with a 30 minute warning. I assume there will be two simultaneous private zoom meetings, one for those leaving the other staying and assume at least for the leaving one to not show participants. I wonder if we will be able to look at our peers calendars to determine who is where?
@a3 I would say 8 CDT, not CST
From what I am hearing you should check your email before 8am CST
I would also like to know. Or are they laying people off on Monday and then announcing the new “structure” on Tuesday?
@OP likely later in the morning, think 7-8ish
