I saw in previous post same thing was stated .Being told we need to carry a bigger load now.Im relieved to survive the rif but I’m just not sure it’s fair we now have to carry an even bigger load!I mean why should we be expected to carry our own load plus now everyone else load that was let go.Does anyone agree or should we just deal with the bigger load

I was RIF’d in 2023, when I had a sit down to turn in my assets, I was told dispute my performance and accolades because I carried 130% of the work load, it was the decision to let me go and redistribute my work load vs selecting someone else and increase my workload. The decision was an efficiency exercise. So if you choose to take additional work make sure you are doing the work in your performance agreement because all the extra you do may not provide you any cover.

I saw what happen to the last guy on the team that took on all tasks. Be careful doing anything not on your PA, at the end of the day that is your job.

You do what you do as always. They can't fire you. There is no hiring to replace you. Its management problem. Working yourself to death will not keep your job. Im here 30 years
