With existing medical condition, I am trying to figure out the cost of COBRA. I currently have United PPO + Dental + Vision insurance. Any pointers on how much will be my contribution going forward ? I took no break & started applying left,right & center. No interview calls from any potential employers.

@c1 the UHC HSA plan is the most equivalent to the ACA plans, which I looked into. Those cost $1000+. ACA Platinum plans were as much as $1400, and they are still high deductible plans.
Unless you qualify for a subsidy ACA plans are unaffordable for most people.
@c1 It was already crazy expensive long before the affordable care act.
They're all about the same, $1000 a month. Thanks to the Healthcare Affordability Act we can't have any affordable healthcare.

family plan is > $2000 / month. I suspect individual plan would be $1000 - $1200
Check your previous year W2. It shows how much the company payed for health insurance. The total price is the company contributions + your portion.
