I’d like to hear from current/former employees. I have an opportunity for a move to Beaumont but I’m not familiar with the site at all. Any information shared would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve worked at BMT, Baytown, and BR and I can tell you that all manufacturing sites are almost the same. Focus of safety, ops excellence, and team development.

Massive NGL leak this week, massive ethylene leak two months ago. Matter of time until they blow this place up and the LT/DHs are too busy looking out for themselves to try and change anything.
Beaumont is most known for having a sizable Kay-Kay-Kay presence, which explains a lot.
HiPos get positions at Baytown, LoPos get banished to Beaumont to fight for a path back to HQ.
Which beaumont? There is like 3 or 4 sites.
Its okay. The town and sites are very clicky. Beaumont is a not great down, high crime. Barley anything to do. Gotta go to houston for decent medical.
Its a good ol' boy club in beaumont area,some sites more than others here.
Healthcare especially specialist in Beaumont is dismal. You will need to travel to Houston to see any competent specialist.
@bx did a member of the leadership team write this? a big stretch.
It’s a well run site, with some really good, practical leaders. They value and rewards the right results and behaviors, but they are demanding. Just getting exposed to that leadership team is a good reason to go.
Beaumont, though, is not the most appealing place to live.
