Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Why Everyone hates RTO

Studies show that over 70% of US employers STILL operate in a “hybrid” mode as most employees prefer a hybrid work arrangement, citing the benefits of flexibility and work-life balance.

RTO wouldn't be so bad if we had desks to sit at without having to either show up at 5am or play silly games to hold a spot by leaving personal things there

Most companies and Governmental entities are going to RTO five days a week and a minimum of 8 hours.

I happen to like it as well.

It is crazy that people don’t want to RTO. But would complain if they got laid off. You can’t be satisfied.

“So RTO is popular bc employees value flexibility.”

And by flexibility you mean putting in 2 hours and then doing whatever you want with no accountability.

RTO is becoming the new industry standard for corporations and governmental entities over our country.

"Everyone hates RTO because they have to go into the office and actually work."

If you have to go to an office to work then you do not deserve the job you have. Thanks for giving us insight into your personality. Hopefully, you will be next out the door.

Maybe some people think it is a little embarrassing to have to go to the office after bragging about how they WFH to co-workers and friends.

So RTO is popular bc employees value flexibility- this is truly an earth shattering conclusion- no effing way!
With brilliant minds and talent capable of uncovering such ground breaking truths AT&T will no doubt find its way out of the GIANT debt hole it’s super smart leaders have somehow managed themselves into.
Dum fu-s.

“RTO will not be going away. AT&T will never again offer hybrid work after 2 years of dealing with the RTO whiners.”

Funny thing is the only people who don’t mind RTO are you boomers for some reason and you’re exactly who they want gone….. Maybe it’s easy to hide without doing any real work for you this way.

Troll, Troll, Troll another ridiculous “needful” comment and yet another age discrimination comment because you think you won’t get old since you certainly haven’t matured into adulthood at whatever age you are. Everyone who survives gets old and it doesn’t automatically mean you are no longer productive or innovative. So many of the comments on this forum reinforce why the company needs to eliminate people you are juvenile and need to go.
