Around 100 internal customer service agents were laid off last week. Folks that were with the company for decades. Customer Service is now close to 100% being outsourced if not there already.

Optimum Communications Inc. Class A announced that Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer Michael E. Olsen will step down from his current role effective October 1, 2026, or earlier upon appointment of a successor, and will serve as Senior Executive Counsel, Capital Transformation until his retirement on December 31, 2027, under a Transition, Retention and Retirement Agreement dated April 1, 2026. The agreement grants Olsen a $3,575,000 retention payment fully earned at retirement, continued salary, benefits and long-term incentive vesting through 2027, and specified protections and severance-style benefits in the event of a qualifying termination, underscoring a structured leadership transition and continuity in legal and capital transformation oversight during the multi‑year handover period.

On the plus side, that is 100 more jobs outsourced to India. I’m so happy to see American jobs and their money used to help non American countries and their people.
