Nothing guarantees those jobs in India not being replaced by AI. Doesn't matter how dirt cheap will be there in India, the AI will take them too with better and faster performance.
@bw, I'm on Blind and you are correct, at least 50% of Blind posters are Indians either in India or work visa in the US. It's hardly a reputable source.
Amazon too. No one will pay $100K for H-1B unless it is rare talent.
I really think these companies ought to check with the big man in Washington D.C. before making such moves. Surely, the stock prices will plummet once he finds out and starts taking CEOs out behind the woodshed.
