Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Are we still allowed to go to unassigned location once a week?

I’m assigned to an office far from my house and they won’t change my location so I have been going one day a week to a closer location.

But since we all have super meaningful water cooler meetings in any building we go to, it would appear that we're meeting the intent.

@dZ please elaborate. I can clearly see on my report my assigned location and the number of days badged in there. And when I wasn’t going and was reported as 98% not at my assigned location that was super clear as well. @as has a typo but is correct in real world experience.

@aa this is not true. Read the guidance available for the reporting.

Working outside your assigned location is supposed to be limited to when you have meetings in other buildings. Space allocations are becoming as precious as gold. Your manager may not care, but the teams in the other building may feel differently if too many day trippers are taking up space in their neighborhoods.

If you go to unassigned more than 50% of the time an icon shows on the report. I’ve been going to one 90% of the time and my management does not care as long as I get my days and am not below the average.

The reporting for 3days in office is tied to your assigned location. No assigned notes are marked on the report with special attention icons. If traveling and booked with concur (or whatever) the report is ok on other locations
