Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

So who got laid off this quarter?

Haven’t heard much. Anyone know what groups were targeted?

@yx TW is a leader that lives by powerpoint and T direct reports makes sure TW sees what TW wants to see not the truth about progress on projects.

For example a senior manager recently left her area for another company because the person had morals and wouldn’t lie using powerpoint. TW is also a political animal and knows more about how to survive politically than anything else.

TW was also chosen for the position due to a departure last year by default there was no external search for the position. If you want to see Milestones meet that will only happen two ways: 1) TW starts talking and trusting the true leaders in the department the senior managers working with the technical staff not and not let the middle layer of management lie to TW (not likely this has been TW operating model for TWs career) or 2) leadership gets feed up with missed milestones and failed projects and replaces TW.

So basically, nothing has changed.

@jz it’s a bad thing. CB drove the financial credibility and performance of Lex DOWN and then down some more, so he will do the same with the integrated company. As for TW - every IT milestone as part of the integration so far has been missed so she demonstrated she can’t manage but yet she Carries on

I got laid. And I got off. But it cost me more than a quarter.

@jy I believe there is more than your listing - CFO - CB and CIO - TW both are legacy Lexmark. Not saying this is a good or bad thing just pointing out that it’s broader than development and supply chain.

@dz legacy Lexmark leadership is limited in the combined company to product development and supply chain. Hoping legacy Lexmark leadership in development is smart enough to call the fact they are almost clueless above 50 ppm and require legacy . Xerox knowledge to active the most recent quarter announcements. Unfortunately BS let go one of the most knowledgeable people to carry forth the above 50ppm charge in Mike K. So good luck trying to achieve anything above 50 ppm with reliability and circularity fellow Xeroids. The current development leadership is clueless thanks to BS risk averse position or protecting his club members. Louis watch out for the lack of performance due to this decision

Some of the LUCKY HCL employees just got rebadged back to Xerox, so some smoke and mirrors for the privileged ones. You have to be in the club I guess.

Xerox contract HCL staff was hit hard. Lexmark has come in hot. It's all Lexmark.

The VRIF deadline isn't until next week, so I'd imagine they'll wait and do IRIFS after the VRIF people are gone.

@c7 no layoffs because we have completely given up. Let it go until the cash is gone. Easier.

@bm stock is up because the shorts were taking their profits. They are smart and don’t want to get caught in a short trap. With our minuscule market cap that is a distinct possibility.

I think the company is turning the corner, no layoffs, stock is up. I have no idea why some of the largest investors like Deutsche Bank are shorting the stock, what do they know that we don't, those fools.
