Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

CO/Office shutdown

Stankey mentioned in his presentation that we had successfully completed our first one. Any news on which one? I would think it was a smaller one but anyone with knowledge of how it went, takeaways, etc?

It was a very small one in OK, not much bigger than what one would call a “hut”/remote terminal in some areas.

Lot of things to work out but will be interesting to see what locations they target first and what criteria they use to select those locations. NYC is a surprise but can see them using different types of locations to work through different issues.

if stankey is smart he will turn most or all of the central offices into midsize data centers and lease them out to google and microsoft

according to https://www.jll.com/en-us/newsroom/att-completes-structured-transaction-of-central-offices we sold them and leased back what we needed anyway, just like with all the other corporate real estate.
