Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Spend, spend, spend

We have no cash and no money and yet we are spending money on travel and accommodation like we are high rollers even though the tools to collaborate are good. Service Delivery leaders and the Reaper do a WW tour every month (why?) Our CMO recently did a world tour including Lexington (and didn’t even present) and APAC (why?) Our Head of Global Accounts travels for 3 days for a half-day check-in with clients (why? Nothing changes and no new revenue) And our EC Chief Revenue Officer has to move to New York from Europe (why?)

@dt are we talking about DJ or now goes by DW? Dolls herself up? You mean like a horrific nightmare doll right? She’s as evil as they come.

Good for them. They do not think about yet you are here talking about them. You can only change yourself , so meanwhile collect the check and ready for the next layoff.

@bp
“ So having open and honest communication”
Just you saying that tells me you have never worked at Xerox. They ‘spin’ everything and tell you the Kool Aid is delicious, so drink up.

The travel and spend has been going on for years. All depends on who you are and who you report to.

@bq Because here at Xerox the best solution is not to solve a problem but to make sure we properly hide the issue and ensure that no one speaks about it so our leaders only believe what they see on powerpoints.

@bj Don't worry corp IT is using the proper tools and AI to compare email and internal communication styles to weed out the internal people and help them along in the upcoming layoffs.

@bj So having open and honest communication about what people see in there employer is not allowed? How is this an insult?

Everybody commenting about Xerox had better be gone from xerox.

To comment about this and still be employed, is the ultimate insult to us all.

Remember that senior executives must meet with other leaders in person to ensure that the next step in the plans are executed with some precision. It takes a lot of work to cut off the lower part of the body (# of people needed to be released in layoffs this year) and still have blood flowing to the heart and arms (notice I didn't say brain).
