Are we sure it's even happening?

@c1 they're in the engine room keeping this ship moving for the fare-paying passengers who expect what they're paying for.
Who allows these people to post stupid comments? OF COURSE their will be another round, and another and another....
I think, going forward, zero employees on the payroll would achieve an enormous game-changing gain, Wall Street-wise, but some detractors might be so jaded as to see it as a short-sighted immediate savings gain as a means of improving the books, at a longer-term downward-spiral demise but, maybe, as a lowly peon, I'm the one missing something-big-picture-wise.
I continue to want a delighted customer though and, if less employees gets the company that I love closer to getting our customers more delighted, where do I sign?
Does anyone know how I reset my computer password? I can’t remember the last time I logged in, but the paychecks still hit every 2 weeks. Looking forward to my bonus and stock!
Perhaps the slackers that somehow survived the last round will actually get their day, not like they will be missed.
@bp their wrong "what" ? (see what I did there?) 😏
The union and craft employees are the heavy weight, absorbent costs, within behemoth Verizon, this sinking ship.
Geo-politically the Verizon employees with H-1B visa status must go first and as soon as possible.
Everyone is expendable as are the H-1B visa status holders noting there is nothing rocket science with their workloads.
As Cosmo Kramer would say, “Oh, it be happening.”
@bk your wrong. keep deluding yourself though
@az that won't happen for years until AI is full speed. Union buyout next. Then trim more fat and have managers with atleast 10 employees or more. Vsp like 5 years again to get the high pay out, then The AI cut. , or maybe AI replacement will just always run.
Yes there will be another round end of Q1. First round was timed perfectly before the end of the year. That being said, to balance the sheets, more cuts had to occur at the beginning of the year for faster turnaround times for revenue increasing strategies in place.
It is happening and will continue to trend the same patterns as the Q4 layoffs.
Lots of questions as to if it will be geo based like the first rounds were or if it will be more results based strategies for the target. The answer is both are being considered.
Agent companies have already been scouted for these locations. Some divestures will be March and then the rest in April.
One thing I did hear is if your location has black tile sales floors, that is is ideal for agent companies to transition (don’t ask why, I didn’t hear but it’s strategic placement)
they are planning to RIF tens of thousands more
@ap this is why alot more need to go
@OP it's always happening when you're scared. Keep living scared
What wasn't clear about what the CEO said about layoffs? Did you not hear him say there will be another layoff in 2026?
Pathetic that people keep posting these.... yes, there will be more. So plan for it, always. Especially if you are in GTS. That exec team is no where close to being trusted to make the right decisions....
Have you been asleep the last 8 years? The chances of there not being another RIF is as remote as the Stock getting to $60
There will always be a "next round", but I doubt there are specific plans in place at this moment.
