@bm you are correct. There are some “agendas” in play here on this site that have no relationship with reality
The majority of call center representatives choose to WFH, taking away their worth and making them as valuable as offshore reps. I’m not sure why Verizon doing layoffs in that department. All they would have to do is call them all back to the office do to business needs and I bet you , you would loose thousands of reps due to quitting.
I’ve seen no evidence that the recent RIFs have in any way resulted in or been linked to more offshoring than Verizon already had
