@147 Yeah, it would be awful for Mattel if a ton of employees decided to stop working there...

After the backlash of not having bonuses a few years ago, I think there will always be some sort of bonus. It's like tipping culture, we expect it no matter how good or bad the company does. At the very least, a small one. The company can't afford not to have one.

They'll drop the merit increase, it wasn't keeping up with inflation anyway, and put that money into your bonus. One lump sum bonus check looks bigger than a few bucks (after taxes) on your bi-weekly paycheck.

You know, you can all admit you were wrong. It's okay, I'm sure you'll do better next time...

It will be lunch money payable first week in April! Don’t spend it all in one place.

Surprised a bonus was announced. Banking on about 25%, but honestly more than the 0% I expected. Small victory

Mattel 2025 earnings and 26% drop in stock price were the worst in 2 decades. Ynot better not sugar coat this . This should cost him his job. It should, but the dysfunction that is Mattel, could save him. the hype around making movies doesn’t make these dismal earnings okay. From a shareholders perspective, losing 26% of your value is catastrophic.

No bonus and more layoffs. If the March layoff event wasn’t a clue and Nov layoffs weren’t a warning, today's earnings and stock drop should tell you all you need to know.

2025 was an Earnings MIss! Big miss! If you are a shareholder or employee, you’re getting nothing. Bonus?? No freaking chance the bonus pool was funded.

There was a corporate email sent out earlier today. No bonuses but we bought the rights to the next movie license that will fail and bought the app developer that hasn't made us any money.

@ah
Company directors and up a robbing the company blind with stock awards. That's why they keep buying stock back. To pay themselves.
Directors and up still get their giant grants of stock, even without bonus. Director 35% of salary stock grant. VPs and up can exceed their actual salary.

@OP the adjusted EPS guidance for this year was $1.66 - $1.72 ... but only came in at $1.41 for 2025. Thinking this is a main measure for hitting targets.. looking highly likely that no bonuses will be received this year

Can we all just align on a work freeze if we didnt? The whole more-for-less thing doesn’t work without more-incentive-for-less-work-life balance.
