WCIB marketing team was riffed today. Part of it at least.
There are a lot of business units under WCIB. A bit of specificity wouds be appreciated.

This month... as in today - I hope all those that were impacted land in greener pastures and that the severance isn't as dismal as the intranet states.

I went on vacation for 12 days. When I returned, two support staff teams (14 people), were gone.
Well, not gone, but given a 30 day notice.

Everyone that works in WCIB knows there are constant layoff every month in WCIB.
Where have you been? RIF are occurring every month in WCIB.
RIFs at the bank only occur in months with 20 or more days in them.
