The year Chevron made the most money and the employees made nothing more for their work. Chevron on track for another record year and another middle finger to the hard workers who decided to stay. 100+ people that I know are ready to walk. Take care of your people or you will find out we can fu-k you harder.

I am very embarrassed that I have overpaid entitled coworkers who act like children on this site and are threatened by people from other countries who crush them in technical abilities. Poor little babies.
@c1
You know who is doing very little? Those injuns in the Engine …. I cannot believe some of the folks I have been working with lately. Mid career folks with no work experience.
@1sh
What? You got a raise?
@bw C- for grammar, do better and see your results:
My raise was $1200, and I received a lower raise than 2024. What a Joke!
@OP you hit it on the head Op. this company is wringing us out before they dispose of us. They have no sympathy since they see us as disposable trash and are abusing us. We are all working endless days with no breaks, lunch, working all night and all weekend. People are at their end. A lawsuit is coming with plenty of headlines.
the axe man and ai will not spare you for being a bootlicker. wake up.
Keep up the complaining. The Axeman and AI are coming for you whiners.
Do some real work and you’ll get paid some real money.
Or quit. And go out in the real world and see how you fare.
You're all welcome to quit and then you'd have nothing to complain about, right? Or is it that no one will pay you so much for doing so little, if you could even find a job at all. Or hey, yall, after getting paid way more than what we're worth, let's all complain about not getting paid WAY more than we're worth for doing nothing. LMAO!
@bw
My coworkers that retired received a budgeted bonus amount at their pay grade and received more than me. ;)
My rase was $$1200. And I received lower bonus than for 2024. What a joke!
@bh
In my team, the base percentage rate was decreased so much the extra corp factor was less of a bump on the bonus. Friends of the boss received the higher base rate and their overall bonus numbers were very good. Same ole' chevron, "friends of friends get rewarded".
@b1
I agree with you. Lots of people I know received the same feedback. I did not get the budgeted amount for a raise nor the bonus and I was a significant contributor to my team because we replaced more than half the staff with employee transfers from other positions that were shipped to India. I did not even get an acknowledgement that I contributed to a successful onboarding for the new people. My boss took credit for the "training the new staff". Now 10 months later many of them still do not know what to do for 50+ % of the work. Oh Well, that wont happened again. My response this year is, "new guy, you need to get instructions for that from the TL in your one on one session..."
Hmm...guess you forgot about the corp factor for bonus.
The last closing PMP was "Hey, great work last year. Enjoy getting structure and nothing else." for many people I know.
