I was laid off in August under John Blanchard's Org. Does T-Mobile consider those laid off as priority compared to someone that's external and fresh?

I got laid off in August 2025 and was blessed to get an offer the following week after the reorg 15 minute call.
All I can say is that you cannot ignore the warning signs. For me, I was not getting any new capex projects.
In fact, contractors were getting better work.
There are jobs out there and the economy (IT) will eventually get better.
At first I thought I wanted to return. Applied to several positions and would get an initial HR screen followed by a ghost, but I think I was blacklisted. Focus energy on external sectors that are telecom andj and get paid much more by marketing your brand as insider knowledge. Companies love that.
Just remember the cost of operations is so huge... there are non stop layoffs all the time
TMO will absolutely rehire you if you were a good employee.
They tried to recruit me back but I was already making more money elsewhere and have no interest in an in-office job.
It’s not worth it.
@bg I do not know anyone in Engineering that was rehired in a similar role - only people who maybe moved to T-Mobile for Business. Yes, many of them work for T-Mobile as contractors - There is a lot of work and T-Mobile needs people and unfortunately they outsourced aot if the competencies.
@b6 I’m desperate 😭
I absolutely saw engineers who were laid off come back as contract workers, and then rehired to FTE. D-mbest sh-t ever.
Chances are probably high, considering no one in a decision making position within this company has any clue what they are doing.
Bro, just move on. This place ain’t worth it.
2 in the big pink one in the big stink
You want to go back? Why? There's so many better options than Big Pink.
