Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

This company is absolutely f&cked

Senior management have absolutely no idea how to run a tech company.
They repeatedly try the only playbook they have, which is to cut costs by laying people off whilst paying consultants millions to do their jobs, which seems to be simply latching on to the latest hot topic and hoping that fixes everything.
Here's an idea, why not try actually investing in the businesses you own rather than trying to bleed them dry.
Anyone else notice the number of good senior people jumping ship recently?
How's future forward working for you Stephanie?

Pretty sure it’s someone paid by leadership to troll. No one in their right mind actively monitors these boards just so they can troll for the sake of it. No one that actively works here and knows the truth. They’re trying to get you to stop talking about the company’s decline. Just ignore and move on.

@bf or Dr. Phil ~ Few complainers? You're kidding, right? Lots of folks have posted here. The better question is why do you keep coming back with the same, lame message, If your employment is working out for you, set your watch. Let's see how loud you howl when you are affected. Predicting full adult tantrum with a need for inpatient treatment. Do read up on those mental health benefits.

Or, and not for the first time, here, is that you, Stephanie?

Put the power back into the hands of the successful businesses they buy and then tear apart. Let each BU hire and fire who they need to hit their own targets, and share some of their own profits. Give them the means and incentives to succeed and FIS would rake it in!

For the few complainers posting on this site, why don't you just leave on your own? Is it worth the mental anguish that you are displaying. Please use your mental help benefits.

FIS have never invested in their products or people except for executives. That is clear from the systems that are used daily. It is surprising that they don't use Morse Code to communicate. Smoke signals would not be surprising either.

Their ancient processing systems are laughable. These inefficiencies have missed the scrutiny of the many McKinsey consultations. The answers are so obvious to anyone with two matching brain cells. That is the frustration. Solid investments in keeping their systems up to date along with retention goals for employees would have made the difference. Where should that invoice for that advice be submitted?

As a Worldpay employee, in my humble opinion, FIS has been poorly managed for years. When we were part of FIS, we got zero project money, we survived on KTLO. Stefanie was not CEO during this time. All WP people cheered when we broke off. I'm sorry FIS is crumbling, but seems like it has been a long time coming.

@as you miss the point completely.
fis is appallingly 'managed' they couldn't organise a p!ss up in a brewery.
cost cutting through layoffs is literally their only playbook.
outsourcing hundreds of jobs to consultants was an act of desperation, as will these layoffs be.
do you actually think fis is well managed?

Do you even read the news? FIS is not the only company laying folks off, ALL Tech companies are in an AI frenzy and are laying off too.
