I mean sure, you're running at full speed, you're all busy, you have a ton of tasks and items to work through.
But you know who else had all of that? Pretty much everyone laid off in January and their respective teams.
It does not matter. Executives do not care. Mike does not care. The shareholders do not care.

I get the feeling there might be some truth to these rumors. Our team is already running at full speed, and it’s hard to imagine cutting back any further without it seriously affecting how we perform and stay stable.
That said, let’s keep things in perspective. We all want to do great work, but it’s just as important to take care of ourselves outside of work too. Keep doing your best and staying true to your responsibilities, but don’t forget to look after your own well-being. Your health and happiness are what really matter in the long run

@an there are over 400 manager level folks at Ally. Employee bands are analyst, sr analyst, manager (also principal), director, sr director, exec director..... Many at the "manager" level don't have any direct reports. Some directors are also missing direct reports.
But who knows.
