Do we have any way of knowing how many on the negative side were RIFs and how many resigned or retired?
Sure if the negative number for a month is in the thousands, then layoffs were probably the lion's share.
I wonder how many of the laid off were close to their planned retirement and will just retire now? Hard to say.

@bw true, but they will have to cut access at some point, as there is a lot of internal and even confidential info passing through Slack channels and groups where laid off employees are still present.
Perhaps corporate doesn't want Slack to be a layoff proxy?
@be Europe will have delayed disconnects from the system, so these reports will catch up in weeks, I think. I have some colleagues laid off in NZ and Australia couple of weeks ago who are still on Slack. It's just in NA and IDC they cut immediately.
So additions are reflected immediately, but since lay off focus is not on Europe, reductions visibility will lag behind for sure.
@a1 seems it’s slowing down, or they finished the layoff?
