Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Hypocrisy re: Avaya Gov Business while Eliminating US Jobs?

#Avaya took away our #jobs, moved them #offshore, then layed off several thousand US career employees, including our Veterans. I question Patrick Dennis on the obvious hipocrisy. US workers need protection from the corporate abuse of “ Employment at Will.”

Bravo. Well said. (See Comments)

YES....there needs to be reports about the long term contracts.
Best strategy, get NICE to bring on Kushner to their BoD, and he will then ensure a swift exit for Avaya.

@2dp $5B? It wasn't even worth $3b when Mitel offered an all stock deal in 2019.

It was still CLAIMING TO BE WORTH $3B when he joined the BoD as Chair; yet that was only possible because they played the clock down with SEC filings due to bankruptcy. Avaya hasn't had $1b revenue since late 2022/early 2023. When PD took lead as CEO, it was hovering between $700-800m rev, and that is still based on #'s that wouldn't hold up in an audit because of how quickly the maintenance contracts evaporated. They will be LUCKY to find a buyer above $160m.

Posted by leadership? getting paid for nothing? More disrespect for the employees. Why not step out into the light and stop hiding behind the curtain?

Avaya full of Fraud, lies and no real product offers. Milking the base due to high cost of kicking them out. Zero leadership, zero direction, zero loyalty to customers, business partners, creditors and employees. it is amazing the leaders get paid to milk people and squash the workers. who would want to work here and trade your dignity for a paycheck? Why does Apollo continue to drink the koolaid? Since Patrick Dennis took over, Enterprise value has dwindled from $5B to less than $500M. Is this leadership?

The Government contracts they brag about are all in violation of terms due to the lack of support/reduced size of company/off shored employees.

How in the world does he not understand that and why would you put a spotlight upon it?

That place is a poster child for corruption. And most people I heard about spread that cancer to wherever they go, if they are allowed in.

25% of Employees are Veterans?

Doesn't the government have the right to audit records to validate that claim?

Avaya employees have been collecting a check for doing nothing forever.. ask me how I know.. be happy you got a free ride for as long as you did. Put on your big boy pants and go get a job. It is going to be tough having to work but, you get used to it!
