India buys Russian oil yet we continue to offshore jobs to that country. Should this continue? Forget H1B visas because they just offshore the jobs instead. Tell you elected leaders to look at the job board for conformation. Knowledge workers do more for the economy than manufacturing jobs.

Better idea: spend the time writing that letter applying to a mid cap company that, you know, actually growing. This is a mature company with no more ideas beyond cutting costs and paying dividends. There will never be huge growth here.
No one in Congress cares if you get laid off. You gotta watch out for yourself. Clowns in WH and Congress are never watching out for you and never have in your life time.
