I interned here, loved it, and turned down other jobs to come back. Four months later, I'm out with no warning and no explanation. Why hire people if you plan on getting rid of them within months?

Charlie ergen is not a good man, we can only wish that all his wealth turns into dust eventually.
@ba these woke pretenders from Colorado (Dish and EchoStar) were the most hostile people to work with. And as a recently laid off Hughes employee, I can attest how they pretend to be tolerant Left Leaning woke people with pronouns etc, but their such arseholes to work with. Very annoyingly negative.
EchoStar/Dish was hands down the worst company I've ever worked for in 40 years in Corporate America.
The culture is awful, Management is terrible and the people working at EchoStar are downright nasty. On top of that the company is perpetually in a tailspin losing customers.
I didn't choose to join Dish as an acquired employee and during my approximately ~2 years there couldn't wait to move on. Thankfully I found a wonderful, higher level management position in a new industry where I'm earning more than twice what Dish paid.
Bottom line, you're fortune to not get too emersed at EchoStar and can now move on in your young career to find a more promising position.
Wish you the best.
You will find a much better place! This is bless in disguise. Good luck!
I’m so sorry for what you went through. Hang in there and we will all get through it.
