Correct meter reporting

Just got the email to "ensure proper meter reporting" so we can squeeze every cent due to xerox. We are past the point of picking up pennies on the ground and they can't afford to IRFF anyone else (maybe?? Or not).

Very sad.....

@gd There is no “younger generation” at your beloved tech powerhouse.

Burns sent all those jobs offshore and domestic talent largely left or was pushed out because institutional knowledge is too expensive.

I challenge you to find a white guy under 25 or even 30 there or any other place that used to be better, let alone on a management track.

You people amaze me. Now I have no doubt that I was always right about the younger generation. You’re gullible and completely scared of your shadow. You think somehow after 1000 people before you, that you have all the answers. Well, You don’t. Not even close.

@ay That’s a 1990 mentality.

If a company pioneered IoT automation decades ago, then the idea that a manual process should be used instead of an automated one, AND that issues with automation aren’t addressed very quickly and correctly, is insane.

@aj It’s only reasonable to expect proper meter reads until one realizes Ursula Burns sent all that work to India as soon as Mulcahy was no longer chair of the board, three years after selling core product development to HCL.

Things that are near effortless to highly intelligent people with decades of institutional knowledge AND care become impossible when outsourced to third worlders who are not intelligent and lack understanding of the basic concepts in the industry and most importantly, DO NOT care.

Do you expect Chevrolet’s telemetry to work with Ford automobiles? Slapping a Chevy badge on a Ford doesn’t change what’s under the hood.

We have to report accurate meters because all the automatic meter read software BS never works.

Bet there are guesstimates of meter counts going on Bigtime.

Why should we not expect a proper meter read?? If you feel it is ok to skip over critical steps within our business model then skip your self on over to a new job and see how you make out. So tired of people complaining about everything. We have jobs to do and if you don’t like it then leave because you are bringing the rest of us who want to do well and see the company turn around down. Most people on here talk a big game but most don’t take any steps to actually bring their concerns forward just make up cheesy nick names for c suite. If you were in front of them you would not say one single word.
