There’s no way to maintain mental health when layoffs happen back to back with no breathing room. We can’t relax or focus on our work because we know it’s never over, and more cuts are always coming in a few weeks. This is mental torture, plain and simple.

Yes, it's an awful environment.
I'm glad to have be on the way out with a severance package.
Best wishes to my remaining colleagues who will have to do their own work plus what I used to do.
Guys, there are posts from years ago saying the same thing. It hasn’t been sustainable for years. YEARSSS. I assume there must be laws in place that prevents them from firing everybody onshore and require patients to get care via telehealth from a doctor in India who gets paid $42,000 because if they could, they would.
@b7 agreed, pointless unless they tell us something within the next 1-2 weeks
Lots of good contacts to share what is going on:

Wholeheartedly agree with the posters who’re saying that the intention is for employees to leave without severance. HouseCalls business update meeting earlier this month is screaming fear tactic. Wtf was the purpose of it?! She did not provide any practical information other than general BS.
@a7 interested in this whistleblower. Can you share more details? Or is it just imafraidourtimeisup?
The company makes its money off charging the government (and a few and falling companies) a lot of money, and then turning around and deny the use of the funds for their intended purpose.
They think of us as cogs in a machine. You are not human beings to them.
I agree that is what they are trying to do: have people leave without a severance package. Makes nonsense but I've been keeping an eye on the loudest whistleblower on tiktok and imafraidourtimeisup. Learned a ton from those accounts.
Totally agree. But they want this so more
People leave without severance
