@g5 is this common practice?

P3, meets, 2% (less than last year 2.5%)
P4, no raise due to being well above midpoint, 23% bonus.
Cyber P3 here 3% merit and 12% Bonus. Bonus this year was a little better than last year
meets
12% bonus
3.5% merit
better than last year
P4, 16% TVC, 4.5% merit, not in core location
2% merit
14% bonus
Bonus was identical to previous role P4 despite 13 months in role as P5
Got meets, positive feedback all year
Lob HR 3 percent raise bonus flat 15,000
@c8
Does 100K sounds too big to you.
Most quants make btw 250K to 500K in total.
Mind you all these guys have Ph.D
P2, COO, exceeds rating. 3.2% raise and 12% increase to bonus. Our group just laid off a mountain of people so I think they had more money than usual to throw at those left behind
@c6 You're correct but it's happening. One a-hole leader is forcing IM risk ratings for issue owners even when the current owner wasn't around yet when the issue occurred so there's no way they could've prevented it. Great way to discourage self-disclosed issues and penalize people for cleaning things up.
Senior Manager in risk here. I was told I have to hand out 40% bellow meets to calibrate, justify lower bonuses, accelerate attrition and meet cost cutting objectives. I tried to be as honest as I could with my staff.
I am lead in Risk and received 39%.
Get f-kc out of here with your 50% bonus. As P5 you’re making $200-$270k and you are saying you got a $100k bonus. GT FOH
Bro, job title doesn’t narrow things down much in these conversations if we don’t know your org.
@bz that's not what that category is for at all. Either someone is blowing smoke or real a-holes or both.
Anyone have anything from the HR LOB?
@c3 CBL, well above midpoint, received 3% increase. High performer/exceeds.
Is anyone in another LOB that can confirm that that they raises enough though they were above midpoint?
@bp nice thanks!
@bt that means they somehow f'ked things up real good
@bz i've heard that too but only about one particular senior leader who is known to be a total a-hole
@bt i've heard senior leaders have suddenly started making managers give IMs for risk only (not overall) to people who own issues for which corrective actions are pending.
Corp Risk- MRM
P4, Meets, Core Location
0 merit
Bonus is the same as last year (19- 20%)
I am only 3k above the midpoint.
Manager confirmed that the guidance was that anyone above midpoint got 0 merit in our department.
Corp risk.
P5 meets.
50% bonus, 1% merit raise.
@bm no complaints about the money itself. But the job is indeed almost entirely pointless bullsh-t, and only getting worse. I’m fortunate enough to be in a position to give up the money in exchange for sanity.
Tech, IM, Bonus down 15% from last year because of IM, no raise
@bq how do you not get a meets on the Risk portion? That's not good at all and it's a oath to losing your job
P3 | Corp Risk | Meets | 13K bonus | 2.6% raise
Meets, CTO 2% raise, bonus 15K.
Meets overall but IM for risk. No raise and 20% lower bonus than last year. If it weren't for the risk IM, likely would've received same bonus as last year and maybe 3% raise.
@ba she said 3.4% and 13,500, salary just under 110k now
@az you need to get out of Ops if you want to make better money
@b0 on the surface, doesn't seem like you should be complaining one bit
Waited around all day for my mgr to ping me. Nope. No news all day. I know at least one of my peers got his details. And another adjacent coworker was being cagey about even getting his update.
@bd So making $300k and spend your time on a layoffs.com board. A real wizard
@a9 I would believe that is a true statement
@bd BS.
@bb it means intentionally manipulated
@bd lob? how's that possible given many with meets got nothing or 1% peanut raise
