They are not going to giving specific end date to the employees not mobile to Edmonton. Technically, they have given us a 2 year working notice till YE 2027. If we decide to stay along until the time they decide later at their own discretion, we will receive severance.
In reality, a few people will receive the payment as most people will look for another and quit before the date company informa them of their end date.

75 % of EMTECH gone (combined engineering, PSP , research). Mostly to Houston and Bangalore.

75% of EMIT gone. Mostly to BA it sounds.

As is always the case, the halo effect will come into play, just like it does during the ranking sessions. The dedicated hard working employees who won't su-k up will be packaged. The a$$ kissers who make their managers look good will survive.
