He promised strategic work, when reality is 80% data entry and 20% meeting notes. Should've asked better questions. I thought joining Synopsys would be a good move for my career. I sc--wed up so badly.

@b5 I tried two internal job swapping positions, but both were denied. I consider myself very strong technically, so I guess many people want to change jobs internally, and the competition is high.
There is an internal mobility program, which may help you move within the company

Best time to find a new job is when you have one. Start looking if your not happy.
