Why do I have a feeling this won't stop at distribution?

They lost any maneuvering room to show results besides cuts a long time ago. At this stage, we're in a managed decline, an effort to maximize profits for the top and shareholders for as long as possible.

@b3 No don’t let them fool you with their statements about this is because of automation. I work in the mid-south and the whole operation is incompetent and dysfunctional. Too many unqualified leaders are in their positions because of nepotism, relationships, or DEI. Now that the company has people up top questioning costs the leaders here have struggled for 2 years to save so now we are having the layoffs.
