I was told this by manager/PDR on the way out. Hoping it's true.

Have you considered reading the Chevron policies that are available on the intranet? All of your answers are there.
FWIW, you need to be on payroll April 1st to receive a portion of your 2025 CIP. It will be prorated, to approximately half of what a current employee would receive and it will not include a performance factor, only the Corporate multiplier.
The Leaving Chevron office hours said that we are eligible if we left under a severance plan, but stressed that bonuses aren’t ever guaranteed. My manager told me that I am not getting one but HR told me that I am. TBD til March.
2020 retiree. Yes, we received the prorated CIP the following year. Whether you receive it depends on whether Chevron has the same rules now.
The long time rule of thumb is you need to be an employee on the 1st day of January to qualify for the preceding year’s CIP bonus. For those not under a severance package, if you are an employee on January 1st, you should not resign until March 8th, after verification of your bonus payout March 7th, just to be on the safe side. (Or certainly not till after your February performance review / feedback.)
Leaving before January 1st, unless it’s in writing in your specific severance package, don’t expect any prorated bonus payout.
I didn't get mine when I left and expected a pro-rated bonus. So don't count on it.
@b3 any estimate on the date of the announcement?
@ap I think the date is March 7th.
You left. Don't expect it to hit unless you ask for it when it's missing and maybe then
@ap They told me when the normal bonuses come out - we'll get direct deposit.
Do we get that in Feb or March??
Yes, that is the general rule, but clearly the rules are subject to change bc they're is no guarantee on bonuses....I think it would create a lot of negative press thought, but not sure the care anymore.
