Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Did all Atleos RSUs/Options vest w/the Brinks purchase?

The options language for E1s and above say a “change in ownership or Control” would trigger all unvested RSUs to vest so you don’t have to wait the continuous 3 years cycles for all your options to vest.

Did that actually happen with the sale?

Getting RIF was the best, was going to retire early anyway in 18 months …….
With the severance pay and unemployment, they would have been better to work me for 18 more months…….
I ended up retiring even earlier, after getting sacked by my boss and a coworker, I can laugh at both, boss was RIF and the co worker is still working, hoping they are not next.

Sounds like the old management tactic of “carrot and stick”.

Dangle the carrot ( raise, promotion, transfer) in front of employee for months. Then when it gets close, beat them with the stick (RIF).

Corporate version of Whack-a-Mole.

@e0 I can’t imagine the amount of lawsuits that would come out here…imagine all your RSUs should vest on the sale and that gets hung on the “closing of the sale” and you get RIFed as apart of the calculated synergy costs before that is able to happen - that is lawsuit land. I recall E1s and above at Atleos and Voyix are the only population that get RSUs but that population is most synergy redundant w/two competing mgmt structures. Also if none of the ELT are going to Brinks or be around post sale, it implies their options didn’t vest either…or they will get to stay on until the sale is final and not get RIFed early like everyone else.

@b2 he/she may not even be around for the vesting based on the rate at which NATL & BCO are doing RiFs!

The purchase has not happen yet, it has to be finalized. You have to hold your job till it is finalized, not sure if it is finalized, you may not be fully vested even when it is finalized.
The process is not going to work for you, that’s part of the sale.
