Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Leadership

In the absence of leadership or clarity, human beings will fill the vacuum with the first explanation that comes to hand …… Why don’t the EC and the SLT realise this (apart from the obvious fact they are d-mb and don’t care)

They were sold on the idea of the virtual corporation. Small leadership team, no employees, contract labor in the cheapest region possible, big bonuses for SLT.

…Pinheads that are trying to justify staying here. You people are scared of your own shadows. Amazingly bamboozled. What a legacy!!!

It’s the gift that just keeps on giving the whole year round….

@a7 exactly. Then you've got these "do good" Managers/VP's that think you SHOULD be fixing all these other problems when you can't even get anyone to listen to fix your own! It's just a mess all around.

@a1, I work as a TSR. Service Field Tech, whatever you want to call it. All we do is solve problems we weren't hired to solve. Sales problems, Supply chain problems, Management problems.
I'm sure every other role at Xerox is doing the same thing we are.

If you knew all the decisions and the reality that EC and SLT are looking at you would panic and cry. You wouldn't do your job to help the customer because you would be too focus on decisions and problems you weren't hired to solve.
