How much stressing, worrying, and constant anxiety do we have to go through before they finally tell us who is being laid off and when? I honestly cannot think of many things worse than being stuck in limbo like this for weeks or even months, waiting to find out if our livelihoods are about to be taken away.

@a4 oh how cool are you. "iVe BeEN hErE" durrrr. What is wrong with the idea of people being nervous about their jobs, lively hood, life's after this. Just because you are all cushy and comfortable is a privilege that not everyone gets to enjoy. Get off your high horse and get some perspective. To think these are you coworkers which I bet you'd never dare to say out loud but here you are the anon king.
Wow people are so toxic to other that assume WORK together. The anonymous posting sure makes people brave
Expand your network of contacts, polish your resume, and find a better job. It is up to you. Stop being lazy and hoping.... loyalty doesn't get rewarded anymore.
@b1 Amen! Been through many of these reorgs. Make life's plan with a pencil and a good eraser. There is life after COP, that much I can guarantee.

Only worry about things you can control. Trust in yourself to be able to adjust and adapt to what life throws at you.
A job is not worth worrying yourself into an early grave.
